Bachelors in Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biological Sciences or related field of study AND 24 months of experience as Lab Assistant, Lab Tech or related position working in a lab including research associate.

Collab Fertility seeks a Senior Embryologist in Walnut Creek, CA to maintain daily laboratory quality control. PerformOocyte retrievals including identify, assess, and culture of oocytes. Perform embryo culture and assessments, embryo transfers, embryo and oocyte vitrification, storage, and warming. Micromanipulation techniques including ICSI and biopsy. Dish and media preparation. Andrology including semen analysis and processing sperm for IUI /IVF procedures.Document patient care services in an electronic medical records (EMR).Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations. Ensure continued operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for needed supplies. Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards in the Lab. Provide training as needed to junior embryologist.
