Requirements

Bachelors in Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biological Sciences or relatedfield of study AND 24 months of experience as Lab Assistant, Lab Techor related position working in a lab including research associate.

Collab Fertility seeks a Senior Embryologist in Walnut Creek, CA to maintain daily laboratory quality control. PerformOocyte retrievals including identify, assess, and culture of oocytes.Perform embryo culture and assessments, embryo transfers, embryo andoocyte vitrification, storage, and warming. Micromanipulation techniquesincluding ICSI and biopsy. Dish and media preparation. Andrologyincluding semen analysis and processing sperm for IUI /IVF procedures.Document patient care services in an electronic medical records (EMR).Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policiesand protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, andcontrolled substance regulations. Ensure continued operation ofequipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements;following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions;calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating newequipment and techniques. Maintains supplies inventory by checkingstock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placingand expediting orders for needed supplies. Ensure adherence to qualityassurance and quality control standards in the Lab. Provide training asneeded to junior embryologist.
