Ready to start your path to parenthood?
Your first step is meeting with us. As part of our patient-first approach, you'll receive a personalized treatment plan based on your age, fertility status, and family goals. Our experienced physicians, expert embryologists, and skilled nurses will compassionately guide you through your fertility journey.
GET IN TOUCHAt Collab, we know you are busy and we want to make this process as stress-free and efficient as possible. We schedule joint testing for you and your partner a few weeks after the initial consultation. Subsequently, you'll have a follow-up with your doctor to review results and initiate a prompt treatment plan.
Genetic carrier screening
Carrier screening is a type of genetic test that can determine if a person or couple carry genetic diseases that could lead to increased risk for a genetic condition in a child. Carrier screening involves a blood draw or collection of a saliva sample.
Semen analysis
Semen analysis is an important part of a basic infertility workup, and evaluates various parameters of sperm including sperm count, motility, morphology, and volume.
Saline infusion sonogram (SAS)
This is a quick 20-minute appointment where we can assess the uterine cavity for structural abnormalities that might interfere with implantation or increase the risk for miscarriage. During the procedure, a small amount of salt water is instilled into the uterus while a transvaginal ultrasound is performed and images are taken. Your doctor will use this information to determine if any further procedures are needed.
FemVue
The FemVue is performed the same way as a saline sonogram and can allow us to evaluate whether the tubes are blocked.
Ovarian reserve testing
Tests that are performed to evaluate a patient’s total egg count and can be used to estimate the number of eggs that can develop at one time utilizing fertility drugs. Common ovarian reserve tests include antral follicle count (AFC) and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH).
Personalized treatment plan
We recognize that everyone is different. We work closely with each patient, crafting individualized treatment plans that offer you the best chance of success.
Support and education
Our compassionate and knowledgeable care team will guide you through the entire process. We provide comprehensive orientation and injection classes where you will learn everything you need to know.
Intrauterine insemination fertility treatment can be a great option for families with unexplained infertility, mild male factor infertility, and patients using donor sperm.
Testing and monitoring
We conduct hormone assessments and imaging tests to determine the ideal time to perform the procedure. You will visit our clinic for ultrasound monitoring and blood work which will be reviewed by your physician.
Ovulation induction
If you are not ovulating regularly, you will take medications to stimulate egg development. We plan your IUI procedure based on your hormone and ultrasound test results.
Natural ovulation
If you are ovulating regularly you and your physician may decide to do your IUI procedure during your ovulation. In this case, you will not take medications to induce ovulation and your procedure will occur on your most fertile day.
Sperm washing
Sperm can be collected by a male partner or we can help you coordinate sperm donation from a sperm bank or from a known sperm donor. The sample is then washed and concentrated so only the healthiest motile (swimming) sperm are available.
IUI procedure
You will come in for a quick procedure similar to a pap smear, where the washed and concentrated sperm are injected into the uterus at the time of ovulation. The goal of IUI is to get a high concentration of motile (swimming) sperm as close to the opening of the fallopian tubes as possible, at approximately the same time as the egg is released.
Checking the results
After about two weeks, you’ll come back into our clinic for bloodwork to find out if you are pregnant.

In vitro fertilization is performed in our state-of-the-art lab by our expert embryologists. Our care team will guide you through the entire process. We provide orientation and injection classes where you will learn everything you need to know.
Ovarian stimulation and monitoring
Our goal is to do everything possible to encourage the development of good quality eggs for retrieval. During a 10-14 day period, following your unique treatment plan, you will have self-administered hormone injections to stimulate your ovaries. You will visit our clinic 4-6 times for ultrasound monitoring and blood work which will be reviewed by your physician to make dose adjustments and ensure an optimal response.
Egg retrieval
On the day of your egg retrieval, you will meet with your entire care team, including your physician, anesthesiologist, nurse, and embryologist. During this minimally-invasive, same-day procedure your physician will retrieve eggs guided by an ultrasound. The procedure takes approximately 20 minutes with our anesthesiologist ensuring your comfort. You will spend 1-2 hours in our recovery area and then head home.
Making the embryo
Fertilization is performed in our state-of-the-art lab by our expert embryologists in one of two ways: conventional insemination (IVF) or Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). In IVF a single egg is surrounded by around 50,000 motile (swimming) sperm. With ICSI, the embryologist receives the eggs and selects one healthy sperm for injection directly into a mature egg.
Growing the embryo
At Collab Fertility, we know that the lab environment is critical to successful growth of healthy embryos. That’s why our lab uses the LifeAire® HVAC system, the most advanced air purification system able to eliminate volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other contaminants that can impair blastocyst embryo development. We also use independent chamber design incubators to precisely control temperature and gas levels allowing embryos to remain undisturbed as they develop into the blastocyst stage.
Genetic testing
IVF patients have the opportunity to test their embryos before transferring them. This process allows us to maximize the likelihood of success by carefully sampling a few cells from each embryo and testing them to see if they are chromosomally normal (PGT-A). We can also test embryos to diagnose a disease that one or both parents are known to carry (PGT-M). This test also tells us the biological sex of your embryo, but we can keep that a secret if you prefer. While those cells are being analyzed, your embryos are safely cryopreserved with us. Cryopreservation of embryos has been safely performed for over 30 years, and today almost all embryos survive with no negative effects on IVF outcomes.
Embryo transfer
Embryo transfer is a simple technique performed by your physician. A long, thin catheter containing the agreed upon number of embryos, along with a small amount of fluid, is passed through the cervix into the uterus, where the embryo or embryos are released.
Checking the results
About two weeks after the transfer, you’ll come back into our clinic for an ultrasound to find out if your embryo implanted successfully.

We provide egg and embryo freezing services performed by our skilled embryologists in our state-of-the-art lab. Our team will assist you in deciding the most suitable approach, taking into account your fertility status and family-building objectives. In the process of embryo freezing, eggs undergo fertilization through IVF before being preserved. Opting to freeze your eggs allows for later thawing and fertilization when you're ready.

Egg freezing
Freezing the eggs
Our state-of-the-art lab is staffed by our skilled embryologists. Our embryologist will examine your eggs and determine which eggs are “mature” and most likely to be fertilized by sperm in the future. These mature eggs are frozen using a process called vitrification. When you are ready to use your frozen eggs, they will be thawed and fertilized with sperm to create embryos. Freeze - Thaw media

Genetic Testing
Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) in IVF offers the advantage of selecting genetically healthy embryos, reducing the risk of inherited genetic disorders, and increasing the chances of a successful pregnancy. It also enables gender selection for family balancing or to prevent sex-linked genetic diseases.
Freezing the embryos
Our embryologist will examine your embryos and freeze viable embryos using a process called vitrification. When you are ready to use your frozen embryos, one or more will be thawed and transferred to the uterus.

We welcome individuals and couples who wish to use a gestational carrier to carry and deliver a child. There are many indications for a carrier that include but are not limited to recurrent IVF failure, recurrent miscarriage, abnormal uterine cavity, lack of a uterus (due to congenital abnormality or same-sex male couples), or medical conditions that make it unsafe to carry a pregnancy.
Our experienced staff works with psychologists, expert legal teams, and gestational carrier agencies to safely guide you through this process.
